From Eagle's Nest to Lookout Point

Friday no visit any oasis. Instead, went to makan at Tesco Ampang. Friday at Tesco. Believe it! There's a place called Warung something something lah, *can't recall*, which apparently serves guarantee sedap Malay dishes. Tomyam pedas but sedap! Udang sambal petai sedap! Ikan kerabu mangga sedap! Sayur masak ikan masin sedap! Sambal sotong sedap! Kuey teow Penang sedap! Ayam masak merah sedap! Teh ais also sedap! Everything we ordered sedap! Y'all should try next time you plan to shop at Tesco Ampang.

Lucky the food is good. Strike one.

Best thing is, I finally found and bought the kind of water fountain that I have been looking for from Living Cabin (a Tesco outlet). After Tesco-shopping, went to Mama Tesco's place to look-see look-see her new domain. Decided to balik after that because I was in my *Oh shit, I need a toilet, BAD!* mode. Right after I got home and done with my "investment", DSC called for 'movie time' so went out again. Too bad cinema guan men liao so ended up lepak at Starbucks.

Lucky - I found what I wanted. Strike two.

Saturday. Belated late birthday lunch at Eagle's Nest Steakhouse in Damansara Perdana with RN. RN had Americano and I chosed what's that already - oh yeah, Rib Eye special I think. Between these two, Americano certainly more sedap. Well, for RM49.90 per plate it better be.

Yay! RN got me Tomy's Mickey and Minnie solar-operated deco-toy I think. I love everything Mickey so definitely over the moon now :D Been smiling wide-wide oredi like siao cha boh. :D Yet to name the two fella. Any ideas?

Lucky with Mickey. Strike three.

After lunch, I still had a couple more hours to kill before 6pm *for another uphill trip* so we went to The Curve. Went round few shops looking for LBD but I was not lucky. Sigh! Before chabot-ing, as usual grabbed a drink at Holly's (my favorite ya). Only reached KLCC close to 7pm due to traffic. *What else is new lah?*

After we made one wrong turn, we reached the look out point around 8pm. Aptly named The Lookout Point, this place is situated way up the hill somewhere in Ampang's Hulu Langat. Somehow can't recall the road there. Will go again, if the boys are going.

So, you're probably asking what's good about this place? Ummm let me see...
  • The place is kinda sejuk-sejuk, *my palms were damp*, the angin bertiup NOT sepoi-sepoi bahasa wan - it's quite windy and misty.
  • The parking area is tiny and dark, so people tend to park by the roadside, creating a total mess when cars drive uphill or downhill on a single lane. The road going up is steep.
  • The food boleh tahan lah. It's not something you can afford to kutuk or muntah balik anyway - no other place to makan. The Teh Dangdut Special is nice.
  • The real reason why people visit and should visit this place, is the view. It's breathtaking....

Awww... look at that view - KL after dusk.

Pic above taken by KNFK up there at The Lookout Point - relying on his dying battery. He's the only one who remembered to bring a camera and get this, he forgot to charge his batts. How appropriate.

Lucky with the fantastic view. Strike four.

Sunday. Got up late. Did some personal stuffs and then went out for durian session, yam cha session and dim sum session. Hmm... now that I think back about these 3 days - I think I've gained a couple of kilos or more already. Damn!

Lucky with sessions. Unlucky with the growing bulge. No strike.

Ah! And I've got my kit kat. I think I'm gonna name him Sparta, just like that cute Egyptian Mau featured in The Mean Kitty Song from Youtube. Now, the first thing I see when I wake up in the morn is cheeky Sparta and he seems to be saying, "Good morning! I want fish!"

Lucky Sparta. Strike five.

Q : How many Tesco words did you encounter above including this question?
